They are totally paranoid about H1N1 over here (France) they never stop on the radio and TV going on and on about it like the Plague is back again! At my gf’s work (normal office work, nothing to do with hospitals or anything like that) they now have alcohol gel on every door and you’re not allowed to touch the door until you’ve washed your hands with it first!

Not really surprising though, France is the only country I know that has something recognised as ‘Heavy leg syndrome’ (I kid you not).

#5 Then you should see Norway. Just this morning, at 9 a.m., there was a line of about 12 people to buy flu medicine in the pharmacy close to my hotel. A special line was made to attend flu freaks. All with what looked like recipes.

This shit is getting ridiculous. In Norway, people are short of rioting in pharmacies to get tamiflu. The health minister is now telling people to calm down and not to buy tamiflu unless they’re really sick. No one is paying attention to him. Swine flu vaccines are out and people are getting afraid and only talking about it.

Somebody please, pour some common sense on the world.

“If you came from….” sure implies to me that “free” socialized medicine services are available to all for everyone else’s benefit?

In USA we have the Republican Plan: “If you came from…..then please find an alleyway to die quietly in unless you have cash or insurance to cover all the unnecessary services you will be billed for in USA.”
