Imagine watching The Aristocrats or Pulp Fiction on network TV. Part of the schtick and the character is the language. Changing the word “shit” to “poop” from a 73 year old man is not going to be the same.

“All In The Family” would be a very different show if it were made today due to the changes they would make in Archies character.
