Obama said that when in college he picked Marxist professors and radical friends so people would not think he was a Winne. He has appointed Marxist to office. If he isn’t a Marxist he certainly approves of them.

There is no common ground for conservitives and Obama and he has sought none. He doesn’t need to in order to pass his agenda. He just has to get the Democrates to agree.

Even If I were a liberal/socialist I’d still think anyone that believes Obama is any sort of middle of the road guy is nuts.

When he was in Congress he had one of the most liberal/socialist voting records going and his current agenda is in large part straight from their play book.

As for the Mao/Obama comparisons… I’m not really seeing it. I guess they both have a cult of personality built around them. (Ironically, now that I think about it, the right’s constant ludicrous attacks, as well as posters like the above, only help to contribute to said cult.) But pretty much every great world leader has had a cult of personality built around them – that’s kinda how you lead massive amounts of people. (Notably, I use the word “great” here to mean a more Nietzschean conception of “great”, being ‘powerful’ and ‘historically important’, not necessarily “good”.)

Still, proud to have such a popular president on a such a broad scale in these difficult time. He is a threat to all the tyrants and bigots.

Bush gave the Chinese an American spy plane, which they reverse engineered and returned back to the USA, in pieces.

By the way, I’m a middle of the road kind of guy, try to vote for the best candidate for a position, and consider people in both wings, especially the extreme ones, to be totally worthless.

Dubya was a perfect example of right wing worthless (you can thank his people and their political/financial manipulations for the current recession), as was Jimmy Carter (see the hostage crisis with Iran).
