“method believes in transparency + provides ingredient disclosure on our labels and online. learn more at methodhome.com.”
So don’t tell me this isn’t an ad for their products.
Why can’t they stand on their own merits instead of getting the government to do their dirty work.
Excellent and obvious attack on Dow’s scrubbing bubbles. I like it. Yes, it’s creepy. Yes, the chemicals in most of our products are fairly creepy.
I’ve got an older post on my blog about green(er) products that work, if anyone is interested in having fewer toxins in their daily lives.

I’ve got a few more I should probably add next time I get a round tuit.

I want to be a Shiny Bubble when I grow up.
#23, TML,
Become a Limbaugh acolyte.
#24 Mr. Fusebox – Thanks for the word “acolyte”. I had to look it up but I’m glad I did.
Do Rush Limpdick followers regularly gather in womens showers to watch the er.. show? If so I may have to become a worshiper of the blathering one.
“loofah loofah!” hahaha
BUT
What is the point of this Household Product Labeling Act when average Joe have no clue between i.e. monoxide or dioxide LOL
Example:
My supposedly well-educated friend tried to avoid common-knowledge “bad MSG” in the food, checking the ingredients on cans and such.
Just few months ago I realized she had no clue that monosodium glutamate IS the freaking MSG, hahaha!
I won’t even mention the idiocy of drinking DIET crap (laced with artificial sweeteners instead of natural sugar)…
Let’s see who is behind this HPL Act?
I’m sure there are some pretty good monies to be made from this Act
Reminds me of fluffy soft. MTV had a crappy
show called “The State” with one brilliant
comedy bit.
I woman is ironing her clothes and talking
about the wonderfull fluffy-soft product.
A cute little teddy-bear comes out and
starts pitching the product.
She FREAKS and screams pounding the hot iron
into the bears head.
Chemicals? Boy this girl has a great body.
#10 – Kinda bent over and backed up to them.
888:
There you go! You got to my point and did it much better.
Just who is this supposed to influence? Guys? Hell no, we don’t care!
Women? With a commercial like that??
So they are trying to sell some labeling act. To who?
All other points aside, how many teeth can you cram into one mouth?
Sister Mary: The image of you bent over and backing up in the shower is … well … I’m on my way to confession.
#30, Ah_Yea
You are right.
“To who?” – I have no idea.
Most likely some friends of the friends from Obama’s administration need a new lucrative job, that’s the whole point of this HPL Act.
(since all the high-pay/do-nothing govt jobs are already taken, they will create some new Office of HPL or something like that)
I don’t really care, for as long as it won’t cost all of us too much (let’s hope).
…but it is still GREAT commercial, right?
#31,
try to picture pedro in the shower backing up. with that green stuff oozing from his butt.
do you need some more eye bleach?
#25 He learned that word from watching O’Reilly. He’s an avid viewer.
Just the MILF in this video makes it worthwile.
That woman is gorgeous isn’t she? Hmm, and I like Method soap – great for cleaning my glasses in the morning, and smells nice too. So why am I sympathizing with the bubbles?
Gorgeous??? You need to get out more. I throw away better than that. I wanna know what this Sister Mary chic looks like man?
I saw a similar commercial where a woman is doing the wash, and the happy star on the box jumps out and starts talking to her. she screams and tells the kids to run. The star says “hey, where are you going?” She trips and falls and you can see the star coming to her from her perspective like in a horror movie.
Pretty hilarious, I don’t remember what they were pitching though.
Horrible.
This ad trivializes sexual assault, harassment, and the like. It is inevitably triggering for many survivors of these kinds of attacks. It implies that if a woman makes the wrong “choice” of using chemical-laden cleaners, she will be punished and demeaned, and deserve it. This is called victim-blaming, folks.
Thank god Method took this ad down from their website.
Epic Fail, Droga5.
