Some of us have a hard time with the minitechnology - I would love something portable but not bulky that would give me full size display and full size keyboard. Elder eyes and arthritic hands can really inhibit computer use.

#7 Nimbo, The Monster's Lawyer is right. They've been around for years. Vertical take off & land, seats 4, runs on ethanol, goes over 350 MPH with a per-fill up range of 750 miles and gets better than 20 MPG at ideal cruising speed.

Oh, and it still fits in a standard garage.

Why even bother?

This thing is a like those old LS-120 floppy drives.
A bridge technology.

The real grail is a device the size of a mobile, with projection display and keyboard, uses gestures to replace the mouse, has wireless connectivity to other units and to the web.

We already have many devices that can do some of these things, make it work well, keep it simple and the only thing you could lose would be the entire unit.

Quite well done, that guy deserves his diploma. No good for any serious typing, of course, but usable for most other things. If needed, there are lots of halfway decent USB keyboards. It's quite impractical given the current state of the technology, and if the technology were developed, they would probably cost too much, but it is a lovely design.

The only problem I see with the unit is portability. There's no way I'd advertise I'm carrying an expensive computer like that. It gives a whole new meaning to purse snatching.
