#19 Most farmers who clear trees/brush will soak the pile with kerosene and light it with a Molotov cocktail or something similar.

Also, construction companies will clear land in same way, local regulations permitting.

The use of the jet powered car is serious overkill, but one hell of a show.

Awww well darn Marc I guess I will have to return my Masters in biology, quit my job as a teacher, and start a bonfire with the 1200 or so books in my personal library (umm would the jet car be handy?). You would be amazed by the amount of time you have to ponder the beauty found in the universe and the nature of a humans place in it while waiting to shoot something. I find NASCAR rather boring they just keep making left hand turns, I prefer demolition derby. By the way engineers are rednecks to look up how to light a grill in 2 seconds on you tube classic. Your rather narrow opinion and knowledge of what constitutes redneck behavior, knowledge, or abilities leads me to believe your mental scratch pad for observation amounts to a post it.

I may be mistaken, but I interpret this video differently than most (it seems) here.

There are times when a farmer will clear some trees from his land to increase the area he can plant. This big pile of trees will be burned to dispose of them. I assume that fire-shooting-thing-on-wheels is simply how they light the huge pile of debris trees on fire since, when you think about it, it would be kinda tough to start a fire that big.

Any rural readers out there that can confirm or deny this?
