  1. Christmas Winter Season Vacation Toy says:

Interesting – netbooks seem to have gone up a tad in price for the Christmas cold winter gift season
The new ones seem to be loaded with Windows 7
How does a 1.5 ghz netbook with a gig of ram run Windows 7 / aka reworked Vista
    Must be a miracle
Now its a scaled down version of Windows 7 for netbooks only with a maximum of 1 gig of Ram on-board
Reduces the netbook to a communications device to be used traveling , on vacation for email and messenger / Skype and taking to the cottage or lake i suppose
However it hopefully ( at least for Microsoft) gets Windows XP finally out of the mix
Welcome to 1984 in the computer world
Time for a cross country skiing vacation at the lake this winter season holiday

Happy Saturnalia. Yeah I know that’s the 25th but the 25th is supposed to be the shortest day/New Years day. We messed up the calendar and ended up with two holidays.

Just remember if you are too drunk to walk just sleep it off where you fall. The horses hooked to a chariot might have been able to drive themselves home or at least avoid wrecking if the driver didn’t interfere to much but your car is not that advanced.

Yes, sheeple nowadays put up with anything. Pathetic doesn’t even begin to describe them.

You want to have a better mood from the light of day? Go to Norway or any other northern place (that is, if you’re really is SanFran and not up in Washington). While I was there, it was pitch dark when I went to work and also dark when I got out, which wasn’t that late in the afternoon.

As if the resurgence of compuserve, aol, prodigy and the like (a.k.a myspace, facebook, linkdin, etc) wasn’t enough of a clue. The one that gets me the most is the “new” fever companies are having of being present in those places. Welcome back to compuserve’s Tech forum A.

Intel is out to kill the competition, M$ style.
GPU incorporation in the CPU, no, that’s not unfair to ATI or NVIDIA. It’s the american way!
