Maybe I’m wrong but I got the impression that our government (US)is making a point that our operation in Haiti is a UN operation.
I don’t see Obama as being much of a world conqueror at heart which doesn’t mean we won’t get stuck there one way or the other. His vision of himself as a do gooder who has the answers is likely to get us stuck there if nothing else.
When will Adam just keep his mouth shut when he has no idea what he’s talking about. This earthquake machine shit is amazingly insulting to those of us who have lost loved ones in Haiti.

#5 When you have money and making more money is no longer fun you try philanthropy. Doing good makes some people feel good as odd as that sounds not that everything these people do is actually helpful. Some people are just going for a photo opportunity and their name in history as it were.
We can’t do much with hurricanes and nothing useful with earthquakes. Get over it.
John, you’ve known Adam a long time. Do you suspect that he is suffering from some form of mental illness? I’ve listened to Adam for a long time and heard a lot of kooky stuff coming from his mouth over the years (including his “Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a great guy” rants), but this Magic Earthquake Machine stuff is lunacy even for him.
