No snow at Olympics site. — Bad timing, I’d say. I blame the whole thing on the bad karma from NBC.
Winter Games officials have given up on Mother Nature and are planning to truck in snow for the freestyle skiing and snowboarding events at Cypress Mountain on Vancouver’s North Shore.
The Vancouver Olympic organizing committee (known as VANOC) says the forecast suggests there won’t be any new snow falling before the Games kick off Feb. 12, and they won’t be able to make enough in time for the skiing and snowboarding competitions.
This is all due to the FACT that we are entering a new ice age.

We had a nice spring weather day here in Spokane. Love the sunshine. 2 weeks ago it was cold cold cold. 1 year ago we had record snow. That is climate change.
Just get Al Gore over there. He’ll fix everything.
They should hold it at Gatwick Airport in London, I was snowed in for 3 days.
Umm it’s Vancouver, i didn’t know it actually snowed there.
Maybe next time they should choose a city that actually gets a winter. Also, wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to move the events to a mountain that has snow. Idiots!

So move the skiing events down here to Arizona, we are supposed to get 4 feet of snow in the mountains today.
This is a prime example of rogue reporting/blogging. Cypress Mountain is just one of the facilities. Because of its location, it gets less snow compared to Whistler/Blackcomb which is much higher in the mountains. On top pf that, ever heard of snow making? Dvorak, you live in California, ever got to ski there? It’s your blog, sure, but it’s amusing to watch you rail against the “big media” BS and then get to do the same thing on a smaller, “blogger”, scale.

Obviously, the calculations that scientist use for Global Warming/Ice Age Theory are wrong so this leads us to have faith that evolution theory is wrong.

There’s Olympics coming? Oh yeah, the winter thing… where much of the ‘sports’ is gravity based… slide down a track in a sled with 4 people, or 2 people, or one crazy person on their back… or slide really fast down a hill on skis.
You can also spend hours watching the king of all sports: shuffleboard played with big rocks on an ice skating rink.
Then you have the same ice skating competition that they have three times a year in other places…
Frankly… who cares?

5. Affects by the SUN are not entirely known, including solar flares
6. Exploding Nova’s sending whatever we dont’ know yet affecting….
7. The unknown force that keeps the universe going and together
8. The mthr-fcking REASON that we should at least do good if NOT ONLY for oneself or one’s family.
That last one, IF you don’t believe in climate and or pollution, why they fck do you do what you do everyday to clean yourself, clean things and others?
