When I lived in Oz the Aussies use to love to make fun of us pussy Yanks playing gridiron with all that padding on. Unlike Aussie Rules Football where there is no padding.

So to demonstrate to the Aussies how American gridiron works, and why the padding was needed, I’d invite them to step into the path of an oncoming train.

None ever took me up on it.
