This is Icelands response to the onerous repayment of the debts incurred by their financial problems.
I can just hear them saying “The wind is in the right direction… Let her rip!” as they trigger a volcano.
Meanwhile, the weather looks normal at ground level in the UK – is this real? or a cover for something else?
I’m stuck in Greece. We were supposed to fly home to Sweden tomorrow morning. Now we’ll be going by boat and buss. via Italy and Germany. 3½ days of fun ahead. Oh Joy!
b.t.w. Not a train seat left in Europe now. The train haven’t got a chance of covering for all the air traffic. Just not enough capacity.
Looking forward to hear Adam explaining that this volcano is because of Iceland’s financial problems.

Icelands financial problems did not cause this.

Volcanic ash will destroy the jet engines.
I’m waiting for someone to claim it is caused by man made global warming and that all we need to do to fix it stop using fossil fuels.
I’d rather take a train anyway. Too bad there isn’t a transatlantic one.
