I see your position as legitimate “as far as it goes.” By that I mean as if you were from another planet and arrive on earth today and you look around.

WITH THE SAME MORALITY, if you just track back in time to see the difficulties morality only analysis raises, I’m thinking you might modify your position, or surprise me with a stronger position that what you present: which is silence in view of any challenge.

Surely the depth of your analysis is more than paper thin?

I’m fully familiar with the Palestinian historical narrative, one which has changed a few times when convenient or necessary: the pre and post “occupation” periods and so forth.

As one who was born in old South Africa (though I left as a baby only returning for holidays all through my formative years) and one who now lives in Israel the comparison between Apartheid in R.S.A. and Israel is a hell of a brilliant piece of deception.

The story it misses is the internal Jewish conflict between European and Middle Eastern Jews: that’s a much bigger problem though thankfully I think it is going away now through massive inter-marriage.

As one who does a lot of business with Israeli Arabs (I think 30% of my sales are to Arabs, Christian and Muslim) and even some non Israeli Arabs for which we have special export paperwork, I know the reality of what goes on here.

My only comment (pertinent to people who hang out here) is this. If you don’t trust what the MSM tells you about big oil or pharmaceutical companies, why do you trust them on Israel? 70% of what I read in the Israeli press is wrong, slanted or lies. And that’s here!

Take a good look at the following video shot recently in Gaza. Sure there is poverty there too, but ask yourself really why. It was put together by Pierre Rehov, someone I have met and corresponded with. You can argue about the editing (what he left out) but he’s trying to show what Reuters, APTN and the others ALWAYS leave out.
