#40 – Floyd! I had no idea either at first. But do no this: that you are nobody. Because if you were somebody, you’d have had to deal with this crap before. You just don’t get it that this is not the first dickweed on the street that these *mere humans* [like your pathetic self] have to deal with, but this is number unknown on a long train an assholes trying to use you.

I’m not defending this congressman jerk so much as I am calling the pussy who won’t put his real face on camera and say what he was really doing. The fact is that he was LYING. He was not on a college project. He was up to plain old “no good.” You’d think so-called conservatives would understand THAT.

Come on Floyd. Run for office. And when you’re confronted by the 77th asshole adolescent with a camera not willing to tell you his name, PLEASE post it on YouTube! Consider it a challenge.

Go forth and conquer my GOOD MAN! I’m with you, I really am. I am totally confident that you can do it and that you can do better.

  2. Gilgamesh says:

Can somebody please take N74JW (#39) out of debug mode? …thanks.

  3. Aude says:

You know how sometime we scene that a person could be “druged” this may be one.

    or drunk as shit.

  4. Nutball says:

What you should be asking yourselves is WHO’S RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED HERE?

Is it the Congressman? After all, he too is a CITIZEN! So shouldn’t the congressman or ANYONE for that matter have a RIGHT to be able to walk down a street and not be accosted with seemingly hostile questions?

Then again, the congressman is a public figure. Right? So I suppose a few of you think anyone choosing to call themselves a journalist has the right to question anyone else, especially people in the public limelight. RIGHT? Therefore, it seems to me that these kid journalists got just what they were looking for and NO ONE’S “RIGHTS” were violated.

But if you disagree then maybe you should try getting a few interviews like that from a few cops first. See where THAT gets you.

  5. N74JW says:

    SHUT UP Gilgamesh!

  6. Theemy says:

    Drunk.

  7. Gilgamesh says:

I think Theemy’s probably on to something. Can somebody take N74JW (#39) out of drunk mode? …thanks.

  8. N74JW says:

    LOL… I do not drink.

  9. Gilgamesh says:

Denial… Some say it is the first step to recovery. Best of luck to you. I support the affirmation of your manhood. Peace be with you.

  10. farbauti says:

What if the student is a minor?

  11. Maricopa says:

    # 17 not a lawyer – Are you implying that Congress could possibly have a lower approval rating if they were all drunk?

    Are you implying they’re NOT?

    #35 – “That moran Congressman…”

Yes, I think I saw you on the Fox News coverage of the MSNBC coverage of one of your “parties.”

    Yes, those Morans from Moranobia.

Yes, what a total jerk. God, you sure haven’t spent much time around our asshole adolescents these days have you? Defending Gen-Y. What a goat.
    ——————————————-

Yes, that Congressman is a total moran for assaulting a kid. Hope he’s sued. What, do you hate adolescents? You must have been a real shining star back then, eh? I certainly wouldn’t defend you were you were you in the Congressman’s position. You’d have gotten your hatred for kids handed to you in a bleeding sack. Goat indeed. RTFA.

  13. Gilgamesh says:

#52 – That was funny how you misspelled moron like I did on purpose. What a riot!

Okay. We’ll give you another try.
On your marks. Get set. Go!

  14. BubbaRay says:

#53, don’t come around here much, do you? You would know what a moran is. Just about everyone else does.

    Moran

  15. Anon says:

    Dems are toast this Nov.

  16. Animby says:

Gilgamesh will be fun to have around for another couple of hours. Trolls are so easy to tire of.

  17. chuck says:

    On one hand:
Imagine you are walking down the street (with a mild buzz from your 3rd martini) and someone with a camera walks up to you and starts talking to you. You ask them who they are. They say “a student” – this is hardly a reasonable answer. he could have said his name.

    On the other hand:
If the person doesn’t want to say who he is, that’s fine, just keep walking.

  18. jealousmonk says:

Now replace the congresscritter with Jodie Foster and the “student reporter” with a 17 year-old “photographer” and you have a real news story.

  19. DontBeAStranger says:

What you’re failing to realise is that when he’s asking “Who are you?” he is actually looking to get a warming and loving conversation going.

Hence the hug at the end.

He just wants to be loved.

Come on people. Give the poor Congressman a break. He’s lonely.

    :-)

  20. Brian says:

two things that amaze me wrt this:
I’m in strict agreement with bobbo

    and

Gilgamesh seems to think civil servants are a duly entitled and superior class of people, which, I can only assume, falls right in line with the beliefs of this congressman douchebag. Folks, we need to keep people like him OUT of government. we don’t live in a caste society.

and, for the record, the kid’s face is probably blurred because some municipalities and states have passed legislation limiting the right to videotape ANYTHING unless you have the consent of all parties involved. so why wouldn’t a douchebag politician try use that to have the kid’s life ruined as a result of publicly (globally) humiliating him?
