Christine O’Donnell, who is backed by the Tea Party Express, is running in this week’s Delaware Senate primary against Rep. Mike Castle. Castle, a former governor, has been winning elections in Delaware by large margins since 1966, and in any normal year his victory would be assured. But this year, nothing can be taken for granted.
O’Donnell’s views appear to be particularly extreme, even by Tea Party standards. In 1998, she told an MTV interviewer that masturbation is the same as adultery because “the Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery. So you can’t masturbate without lust.”
In an article written about the same time, the fiercely Catholic O’Donnell declared, “When a married person uses pornography, or is unfaithful, it compromises not just his (or her) purity, but also compromises the spouse’s purity. As a church, we need to teach a higher standard than abstinence.”
O’Donnell’s
charactersanity has also become an issue in the campaign. She recently told the Weekly Standard that she doesn’t give out the location of her house because it was broken into and vandalized during the 2008 campaign — even though there is no police report of any such incident.“They’re following me,” O’Donnell claimed. “They follow me home at night. I make sure that I come back to the townhouse and then we have our team come out and check all the bushes and check all the cars to make sure that—they follow me….They knock on the door at all hours of the night. They’re hiding in the bushes when I’m at candidate forums.”
She’ll fit in well with the rest of the Republican Party.

Beck is undeniably a charismatic, intelligent, determined, and revolutionary individual. Often, hundreds of thousands of people attend events when Beck speaks. Believing him to be a great leader mass-hysteria and complete devotion are another things witnessed . Beck seems to have the ability to lead and inspire millions of people. The antichrist, who will be the leader of a one-world governmental system in the end times, would have to also possess such traits. It will take just such a person to deceive the entire world in the end times. The Bible prophesies that the antichrist will look a lot like this Glenn Beck.
I’m not going to follow him and I would implore you Alfred not to be one of his followers like Christine O’Donnell who wants people to be as sexually oppressed pedophile Priests

Wow, MTV is the source of O’Donnell’s statement on monkey spanking!!? The same network that has been sued for a program that had males consuming ex lax and taking a shat on unsuspecting females? She won the primary… now even if she gets ALL the conservative votes, she still loses in November, because there probably isn’t an independent that will vote for her. More likely, most conservatives won’t vote at all, because they won’t vote for the Democrat, and they wont vote for a a recognizably loony Republican. So basically tea partiers will be the only ones to vote for her, all 5% or so of the population.

These people scare the hell out of me. They subscribe to foolish Utopian ideals that most of us (may have, or may not have) when we were young adults, but as we got older and matured we realized the misplaced ideology did not work in the real world.
I have never been religious, at least not in any organized sense. I, however, did consider myself to be a libertarian between the ages of fourteen and about twenty. It, however, became harder and harder to rationalize this type of thinking into read world principles.
This movement is little more than a delusional fantasy that hearkens back to the 1960s. It is not a 3rd Great Awakening. It is the counter to the what was the counter-culture. This is not sanity or moderation, but a radical agenda by people who are mentally unbalanced, and want to change the very nature of what our country stands for.
In summary, these people are clueless, careless and a threat to the very survival of our society.
