Wait, people in San Fransisco use the correct name and flag for the UK?! They dont call the UK England?
Doubt it…
That map is wrong. It should ONLY point out where the skinny people and the fat people are.
And a photographic, definitely NSW, view of San Francisco According To The World.
http://zombietime.com/
This site is not just the fruits in San Francisco, but the nuts in Los Angeles and the moonbeams in San Diego.
Is it any wonder why folks are fleeing the state for sanity somewhere else.
The map isn’t really accurate. For one, San Francisco should be at the center since people from San Francisco think they are the center of the world. Then there wouldn’t be anything else because there isn’t anything else but San Francisco.
The point of this is that San Francisco and New York City (from a previous, similar cartoon/map) are just as insular as the rest of the country.
My sister in law lives between San Francisco and Sacramento, and she prefers Sacramento by a long shot.
#4 Here in San Francisco we’re always aware and take pride in the fact that we’re on the edge in more ways than one. I’m happy being in the bubble and twenty minutes outside the city, reality (too many white people) makes me uncomfortable. This city has plenty of faults(ha ha) but they’re outweighed by steady stream of oddballs from all over. A typical checkout line at Costco has people of more colors and countries that you wouldn’t see in a lifetime lived in Iowa. I loved the poster especially “Euronapa”.
Enjoy the multiculturalism experiment as the state sinks into a state of bankruptcy.
Feb 2010: “California is deeply in debt. You could say that it’s bankrupt,” Democratic gubernatorial candidate – Jerry Brown told a group of young Democrats.
Republican Assemblywoman and retired banker Diane Harkey of Orange County said the state is “literally bankrupt.”

One more comment: Las Vegas NV is definitely not in Jesus Land, except for the Mormon settlers that settled that area a long time ago, then established many of the casinos. Mormon casino owners in Nevada say they don’t gamble, because the odds are stacked in their favor.
Arizona and New Mexico are just barely in Jesus Land, mostly because of the Catholics that settled there a very long time ago, then gave up the religion for Lent.
At least they got Guinness right.
With the exception of a few minor details in America, is this too different to how most Americans see the world?
Also – SF opinion of certain states is recorded incorrectly. For instance Michigan would be inferior American built gas guzzling cars. Louisiana would be shrimp and Katrina victims. Florida and Arizona would be good places for retirees, though Arizona’s recent laws might mean “new home for nazi’s”. Nevada would be hookers and a good place for a weekend vacation (though that might be more LA than SF).
A good start though.
You see how it has Iraq marked as “War”.
A lot of the world sees the whole of the USA marked as “Nutcases with guns”. What’s the difference?
@chuck
Except for the missing flag in the top bit.
Luckily the Irish have always taken a laid back relaxed attitude to religion and sovereignty.
#12, we have apparently visited two different countries called Ireland. I wouldn’t advise flying the Union Jack, nor insulting the Church.
Those wacky, San Franciscolanders.
Australia is Fosters Beer? That is terrible. I guess Foster’s US marketing team should be congratulated for convincing Yanks that a crap beer that no self respecting Aussie would drink in public is what they all drink down under.
#15: I’m not disagreeing with you–Fosters isn’t what I’d consider beer. One of my adult kids gave me one of the big cans for my birthday about 10 years ago. I took a sip, carefully hid the can (as a “Yes I drank it” trophy), carefully poured out the beer, and didn’t touch the rest.
So–is there a good beer/ale made in Australia that can actually be purchased in the States and tastes good?
that California ends at the Truckee River with border lines going North to a few miles above Bodega Bay and South to and including Las Vegas down to Imperial Valley. New York is most of the East Coast with the Bible Belt in the Middle with Mardi Gras taking up much of the South. Is good and beer what most SF’ers think about?
Maybe so.
hmmm – “food” and beer. I think maybe more about wine?
And Canada is not the Hat of America. All that is needed is “Eh?”
And Philly. Especially now.
I see nothing wrong with this map.
