    I was in the general audience at my wife’s graduation this May and it was not as much fun, (Conan O’Brien is a professional comedian,) but it was just as enlightening.

    Commencement speakers have an advantage, they have lived and are there to report on the path they have walked since graduating, (or almost graduating.)

    If they don’t choke, they can deliver some inspiring messages.

    But its funny when they choke.

    I have heard some people who will gladly admit that public speaking scares the crap out of them. But they gamely went up there and did what they had to do.
