This video is quite the meme fest. Look out for words such as ‘Checkpoint’ and ‘See Something – Say Something’. The TSA as an army of agents on wheels? Really?

  1. msbpodcast says:

    Why did they pick Tennessee?

Because anybody else would have told them to get the fuck off the road. They’re interfering with commerce!

Tennessee is the poorest state with the poorest dentition in the country.

These poor oxycodone-addled imbeciles are just gumming their freshly run-over armadillos, opossum and deer and keeping en eye out for traffic.

  2. Les says:

Maybe the right wing nuts jobs are correct. They correctly predicted a police state. False flag terror attack and the FEMA re-education camps next?

  3. Dr Spearmint Fur says:

When did they start paving roads in Tennessee?

  4. ECA says:

    Drug dogs?? why?

IT USED to be that we were SELF policing..
IF something strange was happening we called the police.
NOW, we dont know WHO to call..and it dont do much good.

    NOW the fun part.
HOW fast will the TSA take to GET to a SITUATION??

between the Cops/TSA/DEA and all the hassles…it would be easier to make friends with the PEOPLE and have them ALL look around..NOT PISS THEM OFF

  5. seetheblacksun says:

    Good times.

  6. admfubar says:

    lets make their idea backfire…
    report the TSA today!

    • LibertyLover says:

      “911, what’s the emergency?”

“Mam, there are some guys with assault weapons rummaging through an 18-wheeler at the Greasy Spoon truck stop. I think they are robbing it! And the poor trucker is tied up and laying on the ground. I don’t know if he is dead or not. I don’t see him moving at all.”

  7. jpfitz says:

I don’t get it. Why are we allowing some b.s. agency step all over our Constitutional rights? This video should be about some other country’s security measures.

    • fishguy says:

Cuba? China? All the ones we learned were bad aren’t as bad as our own — seems to me.

      I wish it weren’t true. Shit, I’m a veteran.

      • jpfitz says:

Unfortunately I’m watching the Nevada G.O.P. debate, catching up on the sideshow run by Anderson Pooper.

Watching those candidates talk about a fence and “boots on the ground” and now your comment on top is giving me some real anxiety in the pit of my stomach.
I have nothing to hide but still the anxiety lingers.
SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on us. All since some bin Laden character entered our lives.

      • jpfitz says:

        @ fishguy,

Thank you for your service in our military.

  8. Publius says:

It’s a federal violation in the USA for a federal police body to exist. This hard-won wisdom comes from the time when the far-away government center was sending its forces to harass the colonists. The colonists discovered to their dismay that they could do little politically to stop the harassments since those who controlled the national police were out of their reach, sitting in their royal British thrones far away.

Federal police did not exist in the USA for these very good reasons. We elect local officials to oversee our police, and chop heads when necessary, first at the election, and then at the PD.

Now we are supposed to be suffering quietly these federal DHS police from Washington?

Hell no, this is not American. This is a very foreign thing to Americans, this DHS. The homeland / fatherland police thing is not acceptable.

Shoo! Go back to Europe, DHS police, you are not wanted in America.

  9. jpfitz says:

By the looks of this web site some truckers have signed on since 2008. School bus drivers also. Any large vehicle that has a route or travels the interstate highway. These are civilians saying something if they see something. This program is connected to the DHS. Holy Mackerel.

This is the way it rolls out in a fascist state.

Sow fear, and reap the power that the people give away. The corporatocracy is in charge.

The parallels to Germany and Italy are a little spooky…

  11. denacron says:

    Here come the Blue-shirted Bumblethugs!

What next? Palm out salutes as a minor loyalty gesture perhaps?

  12. Cap'nKangaroo says:

Ho-hum, just another day on our interstates in a big rig. And any trucker surprised that Tennessee Highway Patrol volunteered for this is clueless. Tennessee has long had drug-interdiction patrols, concentrating just east of Memphis on I-40 and south of Nashville on I-65. I just shake my head when I see them get out of their new unmarked cars wearing black fatigues tucked into their black polished boots wearing fingerless gloves.

And then there is the east-bound scale around milemarker 370 on I-40/75 west of Knoxville. It sports one of those radiation detectors like the ports use. Of course a trailer load of kitty litter can cause it to alert. Five to ten years back they would pull trucks into inspection lots mainly so IRS agents could dip plastic hoses into our fuel tanks to make sure we were not running dyed diesel (ie. untaxed).

It wasn’t that long ago that there was a big scandal with Tennessee truck enforcement. It seemed the amount of political contributions from a trucking company to whatever party held power was the major (and sometimes only) factor in said company getting weigh station inspections or overweight fines.

  13. Cap'nKangaroo says:

Maybe I should say something to the tip line the next time I see that big white Marmon conventional pulling a white van trailer. It has no markings on it that I can see, has a funky-looking luggage rack-type deal on the roof of the cab, and is always surrounded by at least two suburbans with blacked out windows. If you happen to pull between the tractor-trailer and one of the suburbans, they get real pissed and aggressive.

The only times I’ve seen this truck has been in Tennessee on I-40. A little bird suggested it hauls for the Dept. of Energy out of Oak Ridge but that may just be the perfect cover for a terrorist.

  14. TThor says:

So sad. This nonsense will eventually become a self-fulfilling prophesy, and then they will say, ‘see – we told you so’. And then they will have the right to random inspect your home, your computer, and also to blood sample for drugs… etc. etc. Welcome to the Brave New World, slaves! Osama won; the destruction of Big Satan.
The beacon of freedom and civil liberties has finally she down.

    • Cap'nKangaroo says:

The courts have long held that local, state and federal law enforcement can pull over and inspect any big truck WITHOUT any reason. We are engaged in commerce while on the road and therefore have much less privacy rights than we would enjoy in a private car or even an RV.

This has been around since the 1935 when trucking was put under the control of the Interstate Commerce Commission.

  15. ben-in-the-woods says:

In the land of the Free? Really?

  16. CVFlyerII says:

We are paying huge sums of money for this nonsense, our country isn’t in any danger from terrorist on our highways. This is more of the drama to keep Americans afraid. Our freedoms are in more danger from our own government. The sad truth is we are allowing our politicians to legislate away our bill of rights under the guise of protecting us. They have created in excess of 1000 agencies since 9-11 and they operate covertly. They have spent billions and haven’t stopped any legitimate threat yet. They have only reacted to attacks like the shoe & underwear bombers, so in terms of protection for dollars spent its been a total failure.

  17. Breetai (@Breetai) says:

I got the name for these fuckers.

    Blue Shirts

    Plz help propogate the formula

  18. Todd Peterson says:

Welcome to the OBAMA POLICE STATE! The home of the freeeeee! Yeah, right, loosers!

    Bow down for Adolf Obama!

  19. SWILK3RS says:

Be sure and have your “papers” with you. VIPR my ass. Try and pat me down at a bus station without probable cause and you will not get cooperation.
