7 WAYS Talackova

Nice huh?

Too bad she used to be a guy. What’s disturbing about this to me is the straighter you are the harder it is to reconcile this. She proves that there are times when “male or female” can not fully describe a person’s gender.

TORONTO – A transgender beauty queen who was ousted from the Miss Universe Canada pageant will get to compete after all — so long as she can prove she’s a she.

Jenna Talackova, 23, will be allowed to strut the Miss Universe Canada stage with the other 60 finalists, the pageant owned by mogul Donald Trump has decided.

“The Miss Universe organization will allow Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions,” reads a statement by Trump headquarters in New York City.

Talackova said she had final gender reassignment surgery four years ago and is a full-fledged woman.

Well, my post above to dismal somehow got mis-aligned. Could it be my 4th beer? I do love beer googles. Makes you’all so much more sensible.

But lets parse Rick because he is responding to my favorit intelligent but still retarded Guyver:

    Rick says:
    4/6/2012 at 2:32 pm

Guyver, I believe the distinction is between what you “are” and what you “do”…yes, we call XY male and XX female…no debate there…so what?…/// I’m with you Rick. Even took the effort to read the previous page, so I know what you have posted. Have to type fast before the memory fades……

In this great libertarian-ish blog, /// Why do people want to put labels on this blog? It is……what it is……

I’m shocked /// shocked???? So you have learned NOTHING over these many years. I take this as hyperbole. Not a bad thing in itself depending on what you “do” with it in that XX/XY manner that you probably don’t mean

so many people are so angry /// I spy a few==but not that many. Maybe they are being hyperbole in the same way you are just on the opposite side?

that this person who was raised male and grew up to want to be taken as a female person is doing what SHE wants to do. /// Well thats problematic “as if” s/he had a choice? As a parent, I’d think your language would be more carefully selected?

As I said, I don’t understand it one bit…but why so threatened by it? /// Oh, you don’t have to be threatened to be combative, negative, brutish and so forth. It more often is just an unthinking habit pattern.

Yeah, nice move…”don’t feed the troll”…it must be nice not to have to deal with such things…especially after the rocks are thrown through windows that are not yours. /// I don’t get this and I don’t think it is the beer. “If only” rocks thru the window were the worst thing that ever happens?====good luck.

Now Guyver–I see your understanding of human sexuality is as deep as your understanding of anthropomorphic global climate change. Ha, ha. Neither position scientifically based.

    Amusing.

    • Guyver says:

I see your understanding of human sexuality is as deep as your understanding of anthropomorphic global climate change. Ha, ha. Neither position scientifically based.

Interesting how you like to bring up science when you don’t support the scientific method or empirical evidence.

You’ve long established that the scientific method is not necessary when pushing a political agenda when using a “scientific” appeal to authority.

But sure, if you want to turn things over how one chooses to categorize their gender as a matter of intellect, then go knock yourself out.

How many protected minority classes should our society have? How many hairs do you think it is sufficient to split?

How much should society capitulate in order to make one individual happy?

  2. bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

I just want to be the 69th post on this thread. Don’t know why.

    Would I “hit that?”

Sure. The notion that s/he is “misrepresenting” her/hisself is a product of projection. S/he is just “there” not doing anything. Whatever is “assumed” comes from the observer.

I recall years ago sidling up to a very attractive woman at a bar. Bought her a few drinks. Found out we both shared a love for French Cooking and a few other things. Imagine my horror as I was shocked to find out she was a bigoted fat head about black people? Yes–she certainly misrepresented hereself.

The line is there—but its not drawn by her simply existing.

There is the outside, there is the inside===of both parties.

We are all more emotional creatures than logical or honest.

    Amusing?—-Yea, verily.

  3. Dallas says:

If he/she is deemed more beautiful than the rest by virtue of the pageant criteria, then it’s all good!

The fact is, in nature the male is consistently the more beautiful of the sexes. More colorful , largest feathers, etc and it’s the female choosing the most beautiful. Same goes for humans – except an ugly ass like Pedro, which likely a hermaphrodite.

Males that feel threatened by this contestant are highly likely to feel imasculated because they might find her attractive. This is fact.

    • Yaknow says:

If he wins it is fraud. He is not a full women, the front door looks like it works but it doesn’t lead anywhere. A dead end. Unless they allow men to be gauged by the contest criteria they do women. Trump would “hit it.” I place a bet on that.

He is one of the best illusions of a women I seen. No wonder allot of pansexuals are posting. No pun intended.

      • Dallas says:

Agree she might fail the vaginal probe test for fish oil, mayo and moist caverns. However, I’m not sure that is a pageant criteria.

I suppose it comes down to what defines a woman? The simpletons see it as an inventory of body parts. The rest see it as what’s in the mind.

        • So what says:

Actually I would use genetics, its a man who had surgery to appear to be a woman. Just a blood test to settle the matter, XY male or XX female.

          • Dallas says:

That might satisfy those that need to define a persons sexuality placed in a box using current technology. So what happens if neither XX or XY occurs? ie. XO or XXY ?

I would contend that a woman (or man) is defined by what’s in the individuals mind.

Note everyone starts out as a “hermaphrodite” . In the case of Pedro, it pretty such stays that way.

Idea! How about we not be overly concerned about the chromosome letters or the design of the vagina?

          • So what says:

Its not checking a box its genetics, science even. There is no right or wrong, good or bad, there just is.

“I would contend that a woman (or man) is defined by what’s in the individuals mind.”

So if someone thinks they are a women that makes them a women. By that logic if someone thinks they are a murderer that makes them a murderer no matter if a crime was committed or not. Way to go, way off the deep end of silliness.

          • Dallas says:

Like a good lunatic fringe element, you’re the one that extrapolates off the deepe end.

We’re talking about a persons sexuality, not someone that thinks they are an oreo cookie. Loons like you can’t separate the two thought processes because you’re a simpleton.

          • So what says:

LOL you should really think about things before you post. Your starting to prove pedro’s point.

  4. Sea Lawyer says:

Much more entertaining than some Miss Universe contestant.

  5. jpfitz says:

Rick, I wish only happiness to your child. Ignore the hateful comments, the comments are from new jerks not heard from till now.

  6. memesis says:

Haters get a life. Your just made she’s prettier than your girlfriend or wife.

    • Yaknow says:

Goddamn your right his is prettier. Bu no matter how manly my woman looks or ugly, my woman was still born a woman, a true woman with a real vagina and not a penis with testicles surgically removed with some skin left over to look like a vagina! MY woman doesn’t have to juice up on estrogen everyday and other drugs to keep her a woman.

Hater no, I am not drinking the kool aid! I am not going to be conned.

  7. thadco says:

Yeah, I’d probably hit that, but only in the ass. 😉

  8. Jason says:

Funny, if it was just Tue photo and the line, “would you hit this” all of you guys would say yes.

  9. Glenn E. says:

Such contest use to be about natural beauty. Then they started allowing various surgical enhancements to the face, bust, and other places. Not we see the ultimate surgical fix up, gender modification. Why don’t they just change its name to the “Best Surgery Contest”? Because it’s no longer interested in presenting what women came into this life with, and only improved by diet and exercise. No, tons of money and surgical procedures can make you a winner too. Just ask some of the Brazilian female candidates. Where it’s far more common, than in Canada.

BTW, is this an endorsement of the Canadian health care system? Or a propaganda ploy to demonize it. Either way, thanks a lot, Donald Trump.

  10. Chris Mac says:

noone here has to worry about “doing that dude by mistake”.
this is a contest for girls.. so i don’t really care

is she running in the modified class?
    as opposed to stock?

let me know when it flips into the retaining wall

  11. Glenn E. says:

Just coincidentally (sure it is) the entertainment news media is connecting up this subject with some others. Like how much work the late Whitney Huston had done to her, to keep herself looking good. False teeth, boobs, etc. And the other mash-up was about female models thinning down, body building, or getting excessive amounts of cosmetic surgery. Just to keep modeling contracts. IOWs, natural just isn’t good enough, anymore. For a price, you can change it all. Why?

  12. Cgp says:

    Another testosterone Developmental deprived person.
Not a bad ailment if you ask me. Who cares if she’s xy.

  13. Sea Lawyer says:

Drag queens are proof enough that all you need to look subjectively “beautiful” is to plaster on enough make up. It seems most real women aren’t even that attractive without it.

    • Dallas says:

Well, it’s kinda like all BBQ tastes good with enough BBQ sauce. I would generally agree that most women need tons of face paint to look good.

I’ve seen really beautiful women (umm, the ones with original factory parts) that don’t need face paint for but for some reason are the males want them with paint on.

      • GregAllen says:

I suppose it depends if you like “painted ladies” or natural ones.

        Some of it is cultural.

In the Bible Belt you see tons of women with lots of make-up but those same women seem over-done here in Portland, Or.

As for Ms. Talackova, her femininity is more than just makeup.

        • Dallas says:

          Agree.

She is far more feminine than most anatomically similar women needing a coat of paint, big hair and lipstick used to deflect or hide their appearance.

          • Dallas says:

Birdcage? …. I figured you’re up to speed on gay oriented films.

You strike me more of a Pricilla Queen of the Desert kinda girl.

  14. GregAllen says:

To answer the question — I honestly don’t know.

I like to think I have an open mind about the transgenders.

But I’ve met transgendered girls, some of who were pretty feminine, but I have never been attracted to them.

  15. Dan says:

    She’s a hell of a guy.

  16. Mark says:

She’s probably had a lot less surgery than other women who look like her.

  17. Chiefcheese says:

    Dude looks like a lady.

  18. NinaO says:

it’s all good , till you check her under the hood!

  19. blatherer says:

Odd scar on the neck, I’ll leave it ALONE, thank you.

No, I didn’t read the article, just the image.

  20. Dallas says:

I’ve no doubt you’re amused by other peoples lives and live vicariously through them.
That’s what movies are for, but still, how sad your pathetic, friendless life must be 🙁

  21. Scott says:

    I think she’s beautiful.

  22. Rich says:

Lots of subtleties you can’t get from this limited scope shot. Let’s see some feets and some hips. There ya go. And that’s when the fear of the Lord comes down.
