    That is a great example of a typical tablet user. They spend a lot of money for something that really just useful for watching movies, checking email, and reading the web. To justify the cost and to show off, they have to find a way to use it in places where simpler technology is best.

      Indeed. It reminds me of the story about the USA developing the “space pen” with the pressurized ink that writes in zero g and underwater. They are actually damned cool, and I carry a “bullet” version in my pocket most of the time.

      But, for space flights, the Soviets just used pencils.

    1. and how many PADS do you think you need?? at least 3?
    for all your needs..Put up one on the fridge, with MAGNETS, and watch it fall off..
    2. DRM..KILL IT..
    3. POWER, how many hours will you be able to use it without POWER, a book can be read int he forest..near a waterfall..
    4. ART? Drawing?? I wont go into how Oil/pastels/water colors work and such..
