FLASHBACK: It was 1998. The Republicans were trying to impeach Clinton because he lied about having sex with Monica Lewinski. Newt Gingrich was the squeaker of the house. Republicans were trying to show they were the party of sexual morality – but there was a problem. Newt was a cheater, so he had to step down. Then they brought in some guy named Livingston but within a few days Larry Flint of Hustler Magazine exposed that Livingston fathered a child out of wedlock. Then came a series of Republican sex scandals being exposed. I was surprised Republicans were so sexually active.

Finally Dennis Hastert became the new Speaker of the House. His sole qualification was that he had no sex scandals. And now he’s being pursued for paying bribe money to keep quiet a homosexual relationship with a male student from where he was a coach. This is too funny! I wish I could have been there the moment Bill Clinton found out.

I think the real reason Republicans are against gay marriage is because under their religion they would have to get gay married to the men they are sleeping with. This is the best Republican sex scandal since wide stance Larry Craig tried to pick up a man for sex in an airport restroom.

Party on Republicans! Party on!

NEW: Hastert had gay sex with a CHILD!

Clinton – “I have no comment.” <snicker> (I made that up.)

  1. Marc Perkel says:

In 1998 I personally was running for congress in the 7th district of Missouri. I was the Democrat in the General Election and i was denying that Al Gore offered me the Vice Presidency.

  2. noname says:

“And you, Brutus”, nice and appropriate reference.

When it comes to power politics (money), there is no hypocrisy, morals, honesty or self-reflection. Morals, honesty or self-reflection impede power (money) acquisition and expansion.

Most Rove Repukatons, GWB, both Dicks, LBJ, Slick Willie, … play for power by managed public perceptions (they lie). Washington now more than ever (it seems) is so awash in “Free Speech” (money) the only remaining American sacred cow is what voters think/vote (and that can be brought and managed with free speech [money and TV commercials]). That’s it, “It’s the voters, stupid”!

We got what we voted for, what we wanted, what we cared about, what we deserve!!! We lazily and uncritically delegate and defer our responsibilities to self-proclaimed “experts”. Delegating our responsibilities of self-government frees us up for what we care for, consumerisms! It’s the consumer, stupid!

U.S.A. has these two ever expanding Wall Street financed reinforcing themes that is destroying our country, “it’s the consumer, stupid” and “it’s the voters, stupid”. It takes ever more money to keep it going and thank God (“In God we Trust”) America has Wall Street (world eat your heart out)!

  3. Marc Perkel says:

I always enjoy a good Republican sex scandal. Especially if it involves religion, is gay, or there’s prostitutes involved, drugs, love child, and interracial. Some of my favs include Strom Thurmond having a black daughter, and Ted Haggard – megapreacher with male prostitute doing meth.

    • noname says:

Why would that specific scandal/hypocrisy be so titillating and all enthralling for you?? Do you have republican luv interests? What does it say about you?

There are so many others that are more socially impactful!

      • Go Figure says:

Perhaps he was raped by a republican? Or secretly wishes he was?

        • Marc Perkel says:

We all have been raped by Republicans.

          • noname says:

            +1

          • ± says:

More accurate and inclusive is to state, “that everyone is continuously raped by the D/R hiring electorate”.

          • Mr Diesel says:

Funny Marc, you and I are almost the same age and I think back all those years and I have always done better with R in charge versus D. I remember when that peanut farming idiot was in the White House. I couldn’t even afford a $13,000 house in my hometown because the interest rates so high. Waited and under R after the peanut farmer I got a huge house.

My philosophy is that all politicians can kiss my ass because they all lie.

(By the way, I’m not R or D.)

          • noname says:

Most people and scholars now realize and generally agree the rise and uncritical republican belief of Neoliberalism (a doctrine that market exchange is an ethic in itself) has started the U.S.A. on a Spiraling Race to the Bottom that has critically hurt the U.S.A. and the world.

Not only does Neoliberalism’s War on Higher Education facilitate government welfare programs to redistribute more of the 99%ers income to the richest 1%, Neoliberals have left most college grad indebted and many still unemployed. Neoliberals have wholeheartedly initiated multiple unproductive and expensive Resource Wars in the Middle East and elsewhere.

So you have done better under Neoliberalism’s systematic income redistribution. You ilk have gotten yours and leaving the world unstable, with new economic battle lines opening within our boarders and across the world. Neoliberals have since Reagan systematically demanded the 99% lower their living standards and reduce if not eliminate their economic security to further enrich the 1%.

How evil is that? What good have the Republicans done: Middle East Wars, Student loan crisis, The Great Recession, ….

And you rail against one of our more honest politicians, Carter, so pathetic and typifying!

          • Lawyer Hater says:

            +2 !!!

… Though we’ve also been raped by Democrats too! (Probably even more brutally, which is why those scandals aren’t talked about much.)

          • noname says:

Poor pathetic, sad pedro you’re still DU roaming to and fro, seeking luv in all the wrong places?

Jonesing on Carter, Hillary, Steve Jobs, Mac, iPhone, Elon Musk, SpaceX, Tesla or anything with public success.

Best of luck, maybe those Mexicali doctors can fine your turd brain in its shit excretion and cure your rubbish IQ; so keep trying!

          • noname says:

OMG jobless pedro, our Mexicali troll, YOU GOT PWN’D, again!

          • noname says:

If only I had a quarter for every time I’ve PWN’D jobless pedro, our Mexicali troll.

I am almost ashamed how easily I PWN’D poor defenseless jobless pedro!

          • noname says:

If only half of what you believed or think was true!

How does it feel being repeatedly PWN’D by everyone here, poor defenseless jobless pedro!

Please let’s continue this DU hilarity train at your expense!

        • noname says:

I am almost ashamed how easily I PWN’D poor defenseless jobless pedro!

Please let’s continue this DU hilarity train at your expense!

      • Marc Perkel says:

It’s just my turn. If we caught Hillary having an affair with Obama then it would be your turn.

    • NewFormatSux says:

He should change his name to Denise and he would be celebrated, maybe even get his own show if he can pimp out his kids.

  4. noname says:

Hastert has likely said “et tu PATRIOT ACT”, for a law that Hastert worked hard shepherding through the House of Representatives in 2001!

Now that our ever faithful representative law makers realize how theirs (not ours) dirty deeds lay exposed, Rand Paul declares “The PATRIOT Act Provides No Security”.

I am anticipating an appropriate DU posting (if DU is worth its salt) late tomorrow whether congress ENDs or continues ILLEGAL NSA SPYING, to save their own skin (the hell with constitutional safe guards for the average American).

  5. SKINET says:

“There are cases which cannot be overdone by language, and this is one. There are persons, too, who see not the full extent of the evil which threatens them; they solace themselves with hopes that the enemy, if he succeed, will be merciful. It is the madness of folly, to expect mercy from those who have refused to do justice; and even mercy, where conquest is the object, is only a trick of war; the cunning of the fox is as murderous as the violence of the wolf, and we ought to guard equally against both.” Crisis management.

  6. Cap'n Kangaroo says:

I’ve always been fascinated by these public servants who leave elected office richer (by orders of magnitude) than when they were elected. And many then go on to REALLY clean up by becoming K Street lobbists.

    • jpfitz says:

Besides K street there is the FDA, EPA and so on. Changing laws to make more money at the expense of the American public.

  7. bobbo, in point of fact says:

The guys old and if still working, still close to retirement.

I don’t care that he sucked off some kiddie as a coach. I does distress me he probably exercised no more judgment in Congress than he did when going ahead and paying hush money.

They are self dealing criminals, but I thought more adept than this. Still, as a group….. able to join the D’s and R’s …. as opposed to being so inept they go the Third Party route.

    Ha, ha.

  8. Mc Noot says:

Awww..Another Red elephant bites the dust? When will they learn that cookie jar is secured with a webcam for cries sakes!!!

  9. Marc Perkel says:

He was doing a CHILD! Republican homosexual child rape. And Bill Clinton was immoral! Too funny!

    • Sheesh says:

With multiple allegations of rape and his numerous trips to pedophile island, yeah, I’d say Clinton is immoral.

Lolita Express, look it up, Perkel.

      Sheesh!

  10. NewFormatSux says:

Somehow ABC, AP, Washington Post, New York Times, etc all think it is worth assigning 5-10 reporters each for this story of the Speaker from almost a decade ago. They certainly didn’t report the John Edwards story like this, leaving it to the National Enquirer. And they are not putting so many reporters on Hillary scandals. With regards to Bill Clinton’s being accused of rape, they asked one question at one press conference, he responded ,”My lawyer made a statement, and I have no further comment.” and that was that. Even now Bill Clinton is placed as keynote address in a convention dedicated to attacking the Republican ‘war on women.’

Those pictures of Dennis Hastert at the time of this activity look a lot like Marc Perkel.
How did Larry Flynt’s investigators not turn up this info, with all the money he was throwing around to blackmail Republicans?

  11. NewFormatSux says:

Democrats are the party that support legalizing gay sex with children. Take a look at how many NAMBLA associated got prominent positions in the Obama Administration.

    • noname says:

Why don’t you demonstrate some credibility behind your actuations or are you just projecting your own NAMBLA involvement on others.

Typical Rove Repukaton cunning and hypocritical tactic, accuse others of Repukaton own crimes to deflect attention and falsely claim the public high and moral ground, much like what Hastert did.

Hell has is full your ilk!

    • bobbo, in point of fact says:

Hey NFS===please confirm this is exactly what you do think: “Democrats are the party that support legalizing gay sex with children.”

      Really?

………..or……….. do you maintain some disgruntlehoodness regarding Dumbo support for gay marriage and non-discrimination against gays and for allowing gays to adopt the kiddies no one else will take while the Pukes are against all that?

You know……. the issues of actual dispute are worthy in their own right. Why shit all over yourself by making such exaggerated claims….. or do you really believe what you and your friends say to one another and what you post here?

      • NewFormatSux says:

No that is all part of the agenda. I mentioned when Larry Craig was arrested that the gay agenda included having the police not arrest for that behavior. In Massachusetts, they got a deal where the police stopped arresting at rest areas.
They are a little quiet about the gay sex with children for now, but the source of pushing for lowering the age of consent is almost entirely coming from homosexuals.

        • bobbo, in point of fact says:

Heh, heh. Caught and you know it….. but still won’t give it up.

          Typical.

Prove me wrong: consent for what?

          • NewFormatSux says:

Perhaps you didn’t go to college, but liberals talking about Greeks thought this was the ideal relationship was not uncommon to be heard, including from a Shakespeare professor.

Andrew Sullivan was somewhat defending the Catholic church arguing that pedophilia was the wrong term.

    • NewFormatSux says:

      http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/obama-appointee-lauded-nambla-figure/article/9800

Harry Hay said “[I]f the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world.”

Now Kevin Jennings did not praise these comments in particular but the man, and Obama appointed him in charge of school safety.

  12. bobbo, in point of fact says:

What is Hasert actually being charged with? I hear the reports that are ambiguous.

I assume the child molestation charges are past the statute of limitations and/or there would be no complaint by the “victim.” So that only leaves paying hush money…..which I didn’t think was/is/or should be “against the law.”

so……is it really for a “scheme” to withdraw money in a way to avoid the 10K reporting requirement? If I were on a jury, I would nullify any such charge as long as the underlying payments were otherwise legal?

10K per withdrawal, 1.5 Million to be paid = 150 withdrawals? That dance seems like punishment enough. I wonder: did he think the bank wouldn’t notice, or just wouldn’t care?

Clintons and Hasert==they make their big bucks After Congress if they haven’t done enough insider trading ((NOT illegal for members of congress to do)) during their terms of office.

All a big cess pool of corruption while pretending otherwise.

VOTE ALL INCUMBENTS OUT OF OFFICE…..and impeach all those who take meetings with prior members of Congress! Stop the Merrygoround!

    • NewFormatSux says:

Yes, that is the charge, and lying to law enforcement about it, which was the crime for which Martha Stewart was convicted. I have read the plan was for 3.5 million payout.

Maybe he went to the ATM and withdrew in $400 chunks.

      • bobbo, in point of fact says:

Thanks NFS……..does seem like an invasion of privacy to have to tell the gubment what you are going to do with your own money…when the purpose is “legal.”

Just another lessening of rights in our society’s War on Drugs and why drug legalization just makes senses.

SO many issues in our society start with a valid concern and then morph into violations of various sorts in a lopsided desire to stop the harm…. with the end result that the cure is worse than the disease.

Homeland Security is like that. Total over reaction to the threat of terrorism that we face. It sounds trite, but 3 times today I have heard the Main Stream Media and Pols tell me to be “Afraid” of ISIS.

        Bunch of crap.

VOTE ALL INCUMBENTS OUT OF OFFICE!

        • NewFormatSux says:

There is no 10K reporting requirement. It is the banks that do the reporting. Hastert is accused of trying to prevent this.

There is another business, where the IRS seized all their money merely for making cash deposits in varying amounts from $5k -$10k, no avoidance.

    • NewFormatSux says:

The government gave immunity to the blackmailer, essentially joining in the blackmail.

  13. LibertyLover says:

My asshole doesn’t stink as much as your asshole!
I guess we just found out they both stink the same!

Been saying it for as long as I can remember: there ain’t no difference between the parties. Both are full of self-serving crooks and liars and cheats.

Who here now sees that the R party has misled the the moral majority?

It might be time for some house cleaning on both sides.

    • Marc Perkel says:

There is some difference. When a Republican is caught in a sex scandal they feel embarrassed. When a Democrat is caught in a money scandal they feel embarrassed.

      • NewFormatSux says:

Only if they think they can’t get away with it. Arlen Specter made a phone call and Larry Craig unresigned.
I don’t see any embarrassment coming from either Clinton.

      • LibertyLover says:

        I stand corrected 🙂

        • bobbo, in point of fact says:

How many times in the past few years have you said “There is no difference between the parties” and been corrected?

Its really defective thinking this “either/or” with no allowance for the yin/yang of life.

Every issue is like and unlike any other issue. All a matter of degree and differentiation. Simple minded to go full tilt in either direction.

  14. NewFormatSux says:

Hastert claimed he was withdrawing the money because he didn’t trust banks. However, if the FBI asks you questions, and you answer ‘It’s none of your business’, they can send you to jail, because it is a crime to lie to the FBI.

This looks like the Feds decided to investigate him until they could find a crime to charge him with.

  15. The Hastert thing just goes to show that everybody who thinks anyone else is above reproach is almost always wrong.

Child abuse of any kind is wrong. That said, it is possible that Mr. Hastert himself after committing those atrocious acts put that behavior behind him, reformed, and lived from that point on as a different and better person. The reformed person occupies the same meat space as the person that committed the offenses and bears the responsibility of his prior actions. What is really unfortunate is that someone who has truly reformed and atoned can not undo their prior actions.

    • noname says:

I am all for forgiveness when someone honestly turns their back, walks away and reforms from their past evil which should never be hidden or just excused. Without forgiveness life on earth becomes hell for everyone! Witnessing a person honestly reform from past evils is a valuable teaching moment for everyone!

But, you’re right the “meat package” still occupies the same outward space and is exposed to someone’s opportunistic blackmail when an atrocity is not publically and honestly dealt with. As with the case for Hastert having to pay hush money (Two wrongs don’t make a right, so I sure hope they prosecute the blackmailer even though that person was abused by Hastert!).

Just because Hastert became a person of note doesn’t necessarily mean he’s reformed and the harm his actions caused magically vanish!

Our current legal penal system (not a justice system) doesn’t help either, except to enrich lawyers, prison corporations and gives misinformed people a bogus sense of closure, cheaply.

Without forgiveness we are all screwed unless we can honestly reform ourselves and our criminals.

  16. Imad Zidan says:

I think it’s the Republicans who mostly support the government spying

  17. NewFormatSux says:

Don’t trust Republicans who speak of wide stances.

  18. NewFormatSux says:

Now liberals have to get back to work bashing George Bush.

    http://www.redstate.com/2015/06/03/george-bush-popular-obama/

  19. Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thanks|

  20. Fantastic web site. Plenty of helpful information here. I’m sending it to a few friends ans additionally sharing in delicious. And certainly, thanks on your effort!|
