…Washington DC newscasters for those who don’t recognize them. Ironically, they may be one of the best local news affiliates in America. The sportscaster (to the left of the gentleman who moderated) is the role model for many, many others around the nation.
I am surprised she didn’t sprain her angle. IMHO, the shoes look dorky and makes her look dorky.
A good looking women is still good looking in tennis shoes. Those shoes are just abusive.
Who knew gravity applied to the ultra-thin?
I reacted the same way; the first time she fell…nothing but maybe a little pity. The second time, I lost it. Does that make me a bad guy?
This just goes to show that it’s wrong to laugh at the misfortunes of others, except when those misfortunes are really funny.

Maybe the fashion director could have gotten shoes that actually fit the model. It was obvious they were too big for her feet.

Any model that would be enough of a dimwit to (try and) walk down the runway in those gawd-awful shoes deserves to be stuffing bean burritos at Taco Bell.
That stuff is “fashion”? No wonder I don’t go to fashion shows any more.
In any case, the second tumble would have made it almost worthwhile to sit through looking at all those dowdy clothes. Wobble wobble wobble wobble wobble wobble wobble wobble ….. BOOM.
Yeah, it was funny, I laughed my ass off as well. But, how was this girl (or the designer who asked her to put on these shoes) thinking that it could be possible for her toothpick like legs to hold these ridiculously big and ugly shoes?

Sadly, the news 4 team was disbanded thanks to cost cutting corporate weasels. That’s Jim Vance in the middle and George Michael on the left, the greatest sports reporter since Shirley Povich. George resigned when the weasels laid off some of his excellent assistants.

Thanks for the heads-up. I no longer travel to Bethesda every three weeks so I don’t see them. That entire crew put even the NYC and LA newscasters to shame.
I’m not a huge sports fan, but that guy was/is so incredible I would tune in just to watch him. I hope he gets picked up by a city with excellent teams.

Don’t know what was said that got censored here (twice) but the name of this blog should probably be changed to Dvorak (mostly) Uncensored.
Let people say whatever they want – if it’s stupid, the other readers will take ’em to take without mercy; if it’s inflammatory, the other readers will shoot it down without a moment’s hesitation. Trust the majority of your readers to respond appropriately.
#18 – meetsy – Didn’t think of that. FWIW, I was getting pummeled with for the week I had ICQ on my system. (I put it on to IM with a friend out in WA). My son told me that it was notorious for spambots and other malware, so I got rid of ICQ, and now everything’s back to the normal where spam didn’t even occur to me. Thanks.
