Basically, they slowed down the video just enough to make it appear that Bush was outright drunk. Funny stuff! I wonder what sort of retribution CBS will suffer for this bit of humor. Let’s face it, only a lame duck president with Bush’s low approval ratings could be subjected to this sort of disrespect from a major broadcaster.

What’s also kind of scary about that video is how convincing it is! It just shows how smart you have to be about media in this modern age.

I’m no so sure about that. Clinton got absolutely skewered in every media, even when he was high in the polls. The conservatives LOVED it then but I imagine they aren’t too happy now that the tables are turned.

That Scottish guy is TV’s Craig Ferguson (he calls himself that). He has been doing the Late Late Show for over a year now. If you can stay up that late (I really need to get a TIVO) he is consistently the funniest late night host. He was previously the boss on the Drew Carey Show.
