Google Pages
Google has just launched a free web hosting service with a web based wysiwyg editor. Personally? I’m reminded of AOL Homepages.

Oh it’s *awful* through Firefox. I am surprised at how bad it is. I always expect Google products to be amazing…this is not.

  2. James says:

except google gives 100megs of space, and allows porn. Google LOVES porn. Theres a little checkbox that says “I HAVE PORN”. Actually, it calls it adult content and “unsuitable for minors” but we all know that they really mean porn. Although, I couldn’t find a specified bandwidth they are allowing. I doubt this means unlimited… although google might just have the balls to do such a thing. If anyone can figure it out I’d love to know.

  3. Scott Gant says:

Gee, works fine for me though Firefox. It’s pretty basic, but works fine.

  4. Eideard says:

Worked fine with Camino — so, I presume Firefox versions should work as well.

  5. Firefox works fine for me, I would recommend checking to see fi you have the latest version. Someone at Google woke up and said, ‘We need a Meet and F**K just like Myspace!”

  6. comradevik says:

Google Page Creator is having a little trouble right now.
This is not because of anything you did; it’s just a little hiccup in our system that will hopefully go away soon. We apologize for the inconvenience, and recommend you try reloading this page.

    slashdoted? google?

and i wonder in what form will they introduce adsense. will it be for more space or will you get paid for it. google is trying to pull some more ads revenue. I think this is better then geocities or aol but its to late in time. in 2006 people don’t really make homepages. now there is myspace and blogs.

  7. Dan Collins says:

I just used the google search for the first time in months and I was shocked at what whores they have turned into.If you spend money you will be highly rated on the goog search engine. When did their slogan turn from do no evil to do no good?
