Video of the Week: Cat Tossed Around by Ceiling Fan

I don’t know is this is sick or funny. But I did laugh. A couple of apparent goofballs put a cat toy on a string and then onto a ceiling fan. The cat could not resist going for it. The results are, well..you’ll see.

It’s hard not to watch it over and over.

I have had some wonderful pets and greatly enjoy their companionship and friendship which took time to build. I also injoy the trust they put in me to take care of them. If you haven’t taken the time to develop a respectful relationship with at least a few animals, you are missing something in your journey of life. I found this unfunny.

Wow. I am totally shocked that anyone would take offense at this given that it is complete cartoonish fiction. Surely I love animals as much as anyone (at the moment my home contains: red eye tree frog, 2 mice, 2 rats, 2 cats, a dog, a rabbit, and a tank of fish), but I don’t take that to the extreme that outlaws Wile-E-Coyote kind of humour…it was funny.

If you want to see how funny real cats can be just search for “funny cat” at YouTube.com…there are loads of compilations that will have you in stitches…or the kitty with the MacBook and Frontrow (gizmodo posted a link I think)…it is funny and cute…

As for this clip…I think everyone needs to lighten up a little.

I don’t care if it is old or is disrespectful to cats. It was darn funny. We watched it several times, laughing each time. When the cat hit the wall, that had to hurt.

The quality was so low how could anyone tell if it was fake?

I showed to my kids and the thought it was hilarious. We watched it over and over and laughed harder each time. I love cats too I have 5 of them but it was still funny..

Alright, I watched this video and also think that it was pretty funny. It was obviously fake and for those who are worrying about the cat, it was fake, used in a commercial. Seriously everyone, get a sense of humor and laugh. You all act as though you’ve never seen Family Guy or the Simpsons before.
