Actually, I can think of someone who’d steal a hand

Thieves stole a prosthetic hand belonging to a disabled biker after he left it gripped on to his handlebar.

“It was the first time I had left my hand on the bike,” he said. “I thought I was only going to be 10 minutes but I ended up staying for two hours.

“I came out and found the hand was gone.

“I had ordered a hand for racing just a few weeks before it got nicked because I thought it would be useful to have a spare.” He now uses the spare – for everyday.

“But I still need my old hand back. It was better quality and will last a lot longer.”

People will steal absolutely anything!

#1 What a sad state we have reached when just because a person leaves his property not locked up he is considered a moron.

  8. DaveW says:

This reminds me of the song that goes:

“I’m a three legged man with a two legged woman being chased by a one legged fool.”

I forgot who sang it, was late 1980s or early 1990s.

  9. mark says:

    0. “But I still need my old hand back. It was better quality and will last a lot longer.”

Well not exactly the old hand, its rather decomposed and smelly at this point.

  10. Paul says:

My friend (pictured at link) once admitted he would rather loose the bike than the arm. Not that having a bike stolen is fun.

  13. tallwookie says:

Whoever stole that hand is just a few more parts away from a Live Action Figure of some ex-soldier biker dude.

Not sold in stores. Some assembly required.

  14. Ralph, the School Bus Driver says:

#14, Is a castle with lots of dark and stormy nights required?

  15. Lemming says:

This is going to sound arsey. But youve got to assume it was drunk students. Then you need to imagine the convosation that preceeded it:

1#: Is that a hand me sees
    2#:Yesh it ishhh
1#:Why ish thish man forgetting hishhh hand.
2#:Meh…..My hand know will make good beer hand.

Would be someting like that well at least in my mind anyways
