Am I the only person who thinks the text reads like a native born Chinese speaker? The cadence and phraseology sounds like the older Chinese women I would hear yelling, in English.

Slow news day? Obama appointed another Goldman Sax man to government, this time chief officer of the SEC in charge of enforcement, and it gets better; he’s 29. Intern of the year at GS in 2002 though!

Oh, and of course another economist was just killed. The news guys tell us that it’s a random act twice in the article, so it must be true.

And then there is the brewing funny business over the GLD books in London, which have been fluctuating in content in a curious fashion over the past few weeks.

Pretty hot news day around here!

Funny you mention that. Our power was out most of the day because apparently a squirrel got into a substation.

The squirrel didn’t hurt anything. It was the hunters shooting at the little bugger that put the lights out.

BTW, wireless doesn’t work when you have to plug in the router, modem, and amplifier. And only a loser would use his laptop by candle light.
