#21 Riiiiight. Because nobody has an hdmi connector. BTW, which was the company that wanted to keep shipping their turds to their fans with dvi connectors because it was better? Was it the same company that said intel processors sucked?
Good luck dangling that stupid maxiPad on a tv. I will imagine the stupid macfan standing next to the tv handling the maxipad so it doesn’t fall down while it’s connected to the tv which such “looooong” cable.

#22 The iPad can with apple tv send it’s video to a TV wirelessly so most people will do that in their homes. The HDMI will be good for watching netflix, youtube or whatever somewhere else. Also will be good in classrooms or doing keynote presentations or slide shows. I’m sure developers will find many more uses.

I am sick of the term “mirrored” video output. Really? It’s like a mirror? Everything is backward as in a reflection in a mirror? Who is the fool who thought up this use of the word?
