    To much BETA WARE..
To many releases NOT compatible with previous hardware.

    Iphone ver??
    Android ver??

Between Software and hardware changes in the last 3 years…the NEXT DAY you find you are behind.

ALL I WANT in a cellphone, is a PHONE..samsung seems to have the best reception.

MAKE a device with all the SMART phone options, that has NO CELLPHONE, but will interconnect, IF NEEDED.

ECA, you can put Skype (free) on an iTouch and make free video or voice calls wherever there’s Wi-Fi. Best thing about that is the phone doesn’t ring in the car, and the price is right.

That was a Samsung Focus with a different OS.

  5. ECA says:

AS long as you can get FREE wi-fi thats cool. Otherwise LEAVE A MESSAGE at the beep..(skype $10(?) per year)

To use it at HOME…yes, get a HIGH SPEED net access…$50.. but WHY? you have a computer at home that can do 10 times MORE.

I will say..the hardware design in MOST of these devices is WONDERFUL..and most of it is parallel processed. to bad they didnt GO THAT WAY with intel 10 years ago.

I miss my PDA but I don’t want to carry a PDA. My small prepaid phone is enough of a pain to carry.

The cost of all this crap means I need to drop a bunch of stuff as I’m nearing retirement. If you have the money to burn go for it.

Um, Nexus S ships with the latest Gingerbread, not Honeycomb, which Google is reserving for tablets.

  8. KD Martin says:

ECA, #6, nah, the app is free and calling another iTouch or iPhone (or a PC) is free, too. I think Skype charges for calls to a regular number. I don’t know, I’ve never used that feature. Most of my friends have a smartphone with the free Skype app.
