How did Andy score in his 2013 predictions?
question for you and Mr Horowitz for tomorrow’s podcast. the Weather Company (owner of WSI, The Weather Channel, Weather Central, The Weather Underground, etc) seems awfully panicked by potentially losing all their subscribers on DirecTv due to either some independent corporate decision at DirecTv or maybe some new squabble about rates that hasn’t been mentioned publicly yet.
I know personally that a lot of meteorological companies are private (like TWxC’s competition, Weathernationands oon to be Network Weather). But also part owner of The Weather Company just happens to be Comcast. so how much would The Weather Channel being dropped by DirecTv affect Comcast’s bottom line, as well as maybe confidence in one of their more stable channels?
