JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jacksonville police say Reginald Peterson needs to learn that 911 is not the appropriate place to complain that Subway left the sauce off a spicy Italian sandwich.

Police say the 42-year-old man dialed 911 twice last week so he could have his sub made correctly. The second call was to complain that officers weren’t arriving fast enough.

The cops should have smashed in the door and tased everyone in the restaurant…    wait…

  1. Improbus says:

This is one fellow the cops DO need to beat about the head until he stops being an asshole. Hell, they can taser him a few times for good measure.

  2. RTaylor says:

Come on, this guy probably has some mental issues. He needs some medication, not beating around the head. Almost every 911 center deals with repeated calls from unstable individuals.

  3. the answer says:

The person behind the counter should have put so much hot sauce that he woudl have to call 911 in a few hours after his poop chute melted

  4. Mr. Fusion says:

Give the guy 25 hours of well publicized community service and these crank calls will probably diminish.

  5. Balbas says:

    There is an alternative: Cousins.

    Fantastic service.

For some, a good beating and tasering is exactly the medicine they need. This guy fits the bill. Oh, and since he’s tied up the 911 system, he can call for an ambulance on the nearest pay phone, after looking up the number in the (sometimes) attached book.

  7. Dave W says:

And what is a 42 year old doing in Tampa Bay anyway. He’s not due there for another 20 years!

  8. kanjy says:

Awww. I was really hoping to hear audio clips of the phone calls.

  9. Mister Ketchup says:

Hopefully the police stopped by and gave this dipshit a wood shampoo.

  10. GregAllen says:

The guy was arrested. He deserves a hefty fine.

But beat and tazer him? Sorry. No.

  11. The Monster's Lawyer says:

All the 911 abusers should have their phone numbers set to call forwarding by the service to other abusers. That way when they call 911 all other abusers receive the call. Probably drive most of ’em bat shit.

  12. Peter says:

If it ain’t Texas, it’s always Florida. And if it’s not either of those places, it’s Germany.

  13. Freyar says:

This happens everywhere, all the time. People don’t realize that 911 is an emergency number when health (as in wounds), life, or property is in danger.

He should have just called the sheriff’s office or something.

  14. hhopper says:

What? For no sauce on a sandwich? You’ve got to be kidding.

  15. John Paradox says:

Then there was the guy who lost his money to a slot machine.. in….where else?
