German men told they can no longer stand and deliver — Apparently by law men in Germany MUST sit to pee like women. What next, are they going to have to wear women’s underthings too?

One has to wonder about the obsession with toilets. Auto-flushing toilets that don’t flush as reliably as humans were already doing, and now talking toilets which tell you whether to stand or sit.
For once, I think Freud might actually have had something interesting to say.
Perhaps toilet design is succumbing to the same problem as web design: Just because something becomes technically feasible doesn’t make it a good idea.
I’m curious how they plan on enforcing such a law. I’m also guessing that the concept of a urinal is completely…well…foreign… to them.
I don’t speak German at all, but have wanted to visit Germany for a long time. If I hadn’t seen this entry in your blog, I’d never have known what to make of such a thing!
