They were going to manually track an in-coming missle/object?? Against a star-field background?? hahahahaha
An automated fire-control system, with radar guidance – maybe. But, a manual, line-of-sight based system?
Makes me think of George Hamilton’s Dracula, in Love at First Bite – after biting the wino – “What was that maniac drinking!?” 🙂
