Google Ride Finder — The latest college kid concept from Google. I note that this system has San Jose and not San Francisco or Berkeley or Oakland. This is because this whole thing is a ruse for the fact that they are cheap at Google. This is for their employees and executives so they can sponge rides. Seriously.

Hey boys…where is the Google jet??

  1. Steve says:

Wow, that’s not an april fool, is it?

  2. Dan R. says:

I don’t know if this is so employees can “sponge” rides. Unless i’m mistaken, most cabs charge for their services.

  3. Jim says:

Here’s a site that is useful for finding gasoline prices.

    http://www.gasbuddy.com/
You can search by ZIP code and get local data fast.
    http://www.sanfrangasprices.com/

From what I have heard, gas could double in price very fast. One guy with a briefcase can steal more than ten men with guns. There’s a Google Ad that says free gas. Free $250 gas card. Ends today. Hurry! Maybe Google will start giving free gas away with the purchase of a cup of Google coffee. I just paid $2.15 a gallon and I didn’t even get a thank you. It doesn’t cost a thing to say thanks! The gas clerk seemed like a real jerk. Gas jerks, argh!

  4. meetsy says:

    Jim,
Where are you getting $2.15 a gallon GAS? We’re paying over $2.50 in the SF Bay area……one Shell station I drove by had it at $2.69 a gallon!!! YIPES
can you send me some of that bargain stuff?
