Um, OK. Seems things have changed just a tad since I was in high school around 1970.
Would You Buy Teacher A Condom?
Pupils and parents have been giving gifts to teachers for years – but a new survey says some presents now include condoms and knickers.
These strange gifts even include a teddy bear with a card saying “from one horny devil to another”.
According to a poll for the Times Educational Supplement, teachers are also on the receiving end of prank gifts at Christmas, such as coconut macaroons with a “strange” filling.
Yeah John I was in high school in the early 70’s also. Things sure have changed. Like I never gave a gift to a high school teacher.
First Britney Spears and now this post. What have you been doing with yourself all day. Obviously not Christmas shopping. Unless it was at Victorias Secret.
Funny the type of ads you also get when you make a post like this. Right now I’m looking at ads for $10 of at Drugstore.com and Female Condoms. LOL
Dale, pay some attention to who is actually posting on the blog. There are four regulars with full posting capability and anyone can post after approval. This is not my post. In fact I posted the Britney item then inded went Christmas shopping. I just got home to post the last item.
Lesson learned, which is a good thing. It won’ t happen again. It’s still important to learn something new everyday. So I’m off to a good start today. Hope your shopping was successful. My Christmas is gonna suck because the only thing on my list was an “I Get No Spam” hat and Leo still doesn’t have a store for TWIT stuff like he promised.
I quit teaching in 1990, but in all those years I don’t remember a single holiday gift from a student/parent. The 66 year old librarian would put a miniature fruit cake in you mail box every year. I still think I have some around. If I got an erotic gift from a student today I would call a lawyer.
I’d be very surprised if the wordpress PHP templates made it difficult to make the post author name more prominent. In fact, I’d be willing to take a look through it if you don’t mind sending me the relevant file.
Oh, and could someone please fix the RSS feed? It stopped specifying per-post authors several months ago.
