If you are in the SF Bay Area over this weekend you may want to swing by the yearly kite festival done at the Berkeley Marina. This year there seems to be a run on giant flying squids. Besides these decorative kites there are some excellent competitive stunt kite teams that put on quite a show.

This was in the Sunday edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. The blurb with the picture said the Berkeley Kite Wranglers set a world record by flying 10 octopi kites.
