Watching it, I wished he had caught the kid. Some minimum wage worker in a woollen outfit in eighty degree heat, has to dance and wave for a living, gets punched by some brat while his family videotape the reaction.

Weird that there is no sign of Pluto’s “handler”, an non-costumed employee who keeps an eye on things. Maybe only the big named or high demand characters get them?

Well let’s see. There is nothing to suggest why Pluto was chasing the kid. What is evident though is that Pluto did not touch the kid. That woman though did. She grabbed his foreleg and then pushed him to the ground. That is assault.
Where is security when you need them? Right Kagato. The handler should have been there unless the woman had already mugged him too.
It think it was Dave Barry that said if you want the Disney experience but can’t get there, park your car on a hot day and walk ten miles. Throw all your money in a pile and burn it. Walk back to the car and go home.

Assault? Nope not by a long shot. This is just another out-of-control ‘Cowboy’ Pluto chasing a kid.. An out-of-control Pluto is as deadly a sharp pair of scissors and a danger to all children when running.
The lady prevented what could have been serious deadly harm to a child.
If you look close the ‘kid’ returns behind the lady and hangs close to her, she is probably his mother. Pluto should not chase kids. This Pluto should be fired for scaring little Joey. The Pluto handler should be suspended without pay for 30 days and forced to attend alcohol and Pluto classes.
You know, there is a slight chance that this is a prank of some type. Given the videos of pranks and gags I’ve seen on the web over the years I would at least consider the possibility of this being one. Somebody could have snuck in a Pluto suit. Having been to Disney several times, I can tell you that the characters NEVER come out un-escorted. There is always another Disney member in uniform with them to help control the crowds and lead them along.
There goes the Disney hyperreality.

That was totally hilarious. I couldn’t imagine Pluto so mean that way. He sued to make me sad especially when he gets dumped out of the house because of jealousy with Mickey.
This is not news. Have you ever been to Disney? Pluto does this quite often. Don’t comment unless you have been there. It might be true that the kid got scared, but it is part of the schtick.
