wtf is “XPTV”? Is that to be distinguished from “Vista TV”, or “DOS TV” or “Linux TV”? Or is it something more malignant, like this… http://tinyurl.com/2qb62f

Did anyone care to check out the youtube page?…
This was 2001 MS “idea” of viral video, on the introduction of Windows XP. If you follow up there’s a lot of the “episodes” too.
This and the MSdos5 video really made my day.

  7. ECA says:

HOW about the idea that SOME software makers ARNT supporting win2000 anymore…WINXP or later only..

  8. GregA says:

Wow, I will get excited about this when someone gets excited about iTunes attempting to install its self on my computer even though I have never once installed it. About once a week I come into the office with the iTunes installer stuck at a “Apple inc is attempting to ruin your multimedia viewing stack, cancel or allow?”

Although… A recent Win2k update seems to have broken routing accross subnets on my print server… Well it didn’t force a reboot when it needed to, once I rebooted the problem went away.

  9. ECA says:

Open office isnt backing win2000 anymore, you only have winxp/vista versions.

And if anything why not look up Veoh.com, look at channels.

  10. GregA says:

    ECA,

Old software becomes unsupported and dies… At least the lifecycle seems to be getting longer…

  11. ECA says:

    NO,
New copy protection is tried and the OLD isnt supported. the older company wont support it, because it costs to much to change over…And is dumped.

  12. punterjoe says:

  14. Cursor_ says:
