I used to work for a company that sold surplus military manual and did reprints as well.
We also had a few Soviet manuals translated and printed those.
In the manual for that Makarov pistol there is a section on proper firing techniques and the proper orders to be given. My favorite…

Straight talk gets the point across.
On the face of the Claymore directional antipersonnel mine it says clearly “Front Towards Enemy”. Good advice.
