Richard Brill TCF.NET Comprehensive guide to the best of the Net — Good way to start the year as media maven Richard Brill gives Dvorak Uncensored the blog of the year award. Bloggers award bloggers. Just like real life!
John C. Dvorak Columnist, Author, Editor adds an interesting twist to the news as we think we know it. 1-1-05

Blog of the year? ROFL! Maybe a razzie!
So, what’s that like? Your 9th award? You deserve it. I will soon acknowledge you in my site for teaching me how to blog (see similarities in my Web log).
I have not turned on the news this morning. I only hear the hum of technology.
What lesson will this world teach me today? What is going to humble me before this great mirror?
I’ll look into the emails and forums and gather my opinions.
Let’s look.

Tom! Don’t blow anybody’s mind!
Apologize for being so crude!
Good writers can turn the earth over and sweeten the pot.
Good News, thanks John.
Happy New Year John!

Congratulations!
I like to think that those of us who send you fodder are like seafarers on tempestuous seas, struggling mightily to keep your blog above water, where reviewers on the horizon will be able to spot it. That’s what I like to think. 🙂
To Greg K. Hey, you’re reading it!!
To KB — Obviously I’m counting on you and the other contributors, if you haven’t noticed. I just need to come up with some sort of in-house awards. I’ll probably start with a collectible mug (sigh).
Congratulations!
I hope you continue to make time to write for free.
(But I happily pay for your for-profit stuff (PCMag is all I’m aware of), too.)
Congratulations! You deserve this for making such an entertaining and informative blog!
Bravo!
As for mugs? John, I still have 2 from Silicon Spin. Nothing wrong with keeping CafePress in business.
Excellent!
I tend to forget it’s not just me, and a few other “blog-trolls”, who frequent your site! 🙂
