I remember years ago there was some artist who painted/drew US dollar bill imitations. His bills would sell for many times their actual price and weren’t used as counterfeit money, but as art pieces. This incensed the secret service to no end.
I remember that guy. He took one of his bills into an electronic store and tried to get the salesman to take it in trade for a radio. The salesman said no, that’s not real money. The artist explained that it was art and still wished to trade. To which the salesman offered to give the artist the box the radio came in for it, since the box had a picture of the radio on it! 🙂
