petite anglaise » the first strikes of 2005 – lost in france — As many of you know, I’m not really into diary-style blogging. Who cares whether I ate a cheese sandwich or not? But I have to admit that when I run into an interesting person who rambles on about his or her life in some remote spot in the world I’ll read it. This is especially true if it’s a spot I like to visit. You get the sense that you have an edge on other travellers when you read these things. This woman writes well and despite the fact that she apparently hates Tom Hanks, has a nice sense of things — in Paris!
