Since this course teaches what’s available in public libraries and bookstores, shouldn’t we burn those books, too? Can’t be too careful!

Sciences ban for terror suspect

A man under surveillance for suspected terrorist activities has been told he cannot take an AS-level science course because he might use it for terrorism.

The Iraqi national, who can only be named as “AE”, was told his studies broke an anti-terrorism control order, said the man’s lawyer.

Mohammed Ayub said the restriction was pointless as any knowledge in a science class was already in the public domain.

The Home Office said it was not prepared to comment on the case.

Mr Ayub said he did not expect there to be a problem, not only because the information is freely available, but because his client had been a medical student in Iraq and would not be learning anything new.

I just assumed that this was talking about the U.S. until I read the article.

The frightening part is that it’s not just some random paranoid Orwellian fantasist that thinks this is the way the U.S. has developed over the past few years. It could be considered to be just business as usual in the New United States.

  2. Angel H. Wong says:

Maybe they should ban science too to girls to keep the faith among Christians.

  3. MikeN says:

Yea, I like the old way better where we just let foreigners come in and take whatever classes they want without supervision. Saudis taking flight school is nothing to be concerned about.

  4. Joshua says:

Ahhhh…merry ole England, again strikes a blow for Stalinist freedom.

If he’s so friggin dangerous then deport him……oh wait, the courts won’t let them deport ANYONE, even actual criminals.

And like your ancestors…or wait..is Mike maybe an old tribal name…but that does make the point doesn’t it. Nothing good can come from letting in foreigners….and here I was set to disagree with you….

  6. Brock says:

England, Sweden and France are done. They’re Muslim countries. Let em bake for 20 years, take them out of the oven and see for yourself.

Better study up on Islamic law (Shari’ah), because it’s coming to a neighborhood near you.
