We should just start a strict policy of searching every vehicle crossing from Canada to the US. The lines would stretch for 20 miles and their economy would collapse within weeks.
It’s a 2-way street, dude. I love how my fellow Americans think our government’s “needs” are somehow more important than anything else on this planet.
I can’t decide if that’s simply egregious behavior — or worse.

I’m surprised you’re not connecting the dots here. The main supporter/booster of the missile program in Canada was Canadian’s Defense Minister Bill Graham.
Yet, a few days ago he was detained at a US airport because his name was on the secret FBI terrorist list.

Apparently the Canadians have better sense than we do and have decided to forego expensive government boondoggles that don’t work. Good for them.

No need to worry about Canada. They don’t need help from Washington, they just keep on keeping on. Of course, our government will be sending people from official Washington up there to help solve problems. Look forward to more problems. I hope they don’t decide to invade Canada next.

I completely agree, a theat would be inviting her INTO our country. After seeing her at the 911 inquiry I have no idea how anyone has any respect for her. She’s a liar who takes no responsibility for her actions. (Oh wait, that’s the definition of politicians everywhere.)
The Canadians know a boondoggle when they see it. Pouring billions of dollars into a missile defense system which has never had a successful test under realistic conditions is the sort of thing that only makes sense if you’re a nutjob like Rumsfeld.
