Let’s see. Calls from an area where we are at war to the US are being monitored. I don’t see the problem or where it should be much of a surprise to anyone involved.

i find it pretty amusing that there are people still gullible enough to that believe the war on terror is “real”

Anytime you call a number that’s been outsourced to India, the government is allowed to eavesdrop without a warrant, right?
You’d better hope that every government employee and contractor with access to the transcripts are well paid, or they will treat your credit card as a perk of the job.

The President CAN NOT cancel FISA. It is set up under legislation passed by Congress. The President can not cancel a law just because he wants to.
But, this has nothing to do with FISA. This is an Executive Order directing the NSA to monitor all phone calls. FISA requires a court order to monitor Americans when using international phone calls. The President denied this happened. Two operatives who listened in on these calls appear to disagree with what the President claimed.
