Correction: it was not MOST Americans who voted. We don’t actually count up the votes and the most votes win. (And, if that were the case, then only MORE Americans voted for him). Nope, it’s way more complicated than that. The Electoral College is the mechanism in how we decide a president. Even our feds can’t give us a good explaination of how this works, as the gov’t website says that the page can’t be found on the “how the electoral college works”, you get a re-direct back to the homepage.
