A Serb man set his car on fire when he heard how much he had to pay to reclaim it after it was towed away for illegal parking.
An attendant told the daily Press the man was very calm.
“He went to his car, took a few things then opened the hood and set the engine on fire. When it was well ablaze he got back on his bike and rode off.”
No comment.

My ex GF had a car towed once after an accident. They wouldn’t even let her near the car to reclaim personal items from inside the car til she had paid for the tow and storage fees. I guess they do that to avoid things like the above..

Freak the fine…and by the way…good luck getting my burned ass car out of your lot too. This guy sure did have the right idea. Of course, some used cars just ain’t worth the fine to reclaim it…
this guy is a true hero. I once traded a car for a tow – left the title on the front seat – but it was nowhere near a satisfying.

I can’t blame him, I once had a car stolen and I had to pay the fees to get it back from the impound lot, why do they insist to make you pay so much if your car was stolen from you I mean I had already lost alot of stuff that was stolen from the car by the car thief, do I really need more money taken from me by the cops!?
