Transocean President and CEO Steven Newman performs a Bollywood dance after the company’s Indian division achieved top safety award targets – and he was able to take a few minutes away from concerns in the Gulf of Mexico.

You write this like it was a few days ago. This video is from 2009.

  2. amodedoma says:

Damn, that was so funny I just pissed myself!

  3. Lou Minatti says:

Meanwhile, as the leak continues on the floor of the Gulf of Mexico, Barack Obama springs into action by playing golf every afternoon.

  4. LDA says:

No-thing to see here, ooh, look at that!

  5. SparkyOne says:

The only faithful performance bond he ever lived up to.

#3 – and Republicans, teabaggers and conservatives in general – whine about just about everything that doesn’t suit 19th Century ideology.

    Time warp politics.

  7. Lou Minatti says:

Regarding Obama’s pathetic and negligent performance, Moss writes:

“and Republicans, teabaggers and conservatives in general – whine about just about everything that doesn’t suit 19th Century ideology.”

    Don’t forget “neocons”!

So what do you think about Barry O’Bama playing golf while the ecological disaster was occurring in the Gulf of Mexico? Heck of a job, Barry!

  8. Greg Allen says:

Transocean has WAAAAYYYY too much money if they put on a self-indulgent show like that.

Justice won’t be satisfied until B.P., Transocean and Hailburton are busted, broke and long gone — with every dime of their assets going to the victims of this Gulf oil disaster.

When you spill your drink at a bar, you’re the kind of person who screams at the waitress and demands she be fired.

Admit it, You are, aren’t you? You sure seem like it, anyway.

  10. amodedoma says:

Hey it’s the good life, yes siree, this is why a man sells his own integrity, and put’s the safety of the world at risk.

  12. deowll says:

If the award in question occurred in 2009 and somebody is trying to make it appear that it occurred last week I call that slander and their butt should be nailed to the wall.

#6 Brain fart? Completely off topic post? Trolling?

The Federal government does not have the expertize nor the equipment needed to stop the leak.

I don’t blame Obama for that nor do I expect him to do much more than posture when it comes to stopping the leak. True believers thank the government can fix all their problems so he has to play the buffoon for them even though their expectations are ludicrous.

What bothers me is the Feds don’t seem to have been prepared to act to minimize the ecological and environmental side of the problem. They didn’t have the equipment needed to try and contain the oil nor were they willing to allow the Governor of Louisiana to do what he needed to do in order to minimize damage.

It is the Feds job to at least see to it that the equipment to contain spills is on hand and to make themselves useful by saying yes to what others are doing.

Speaking of bars, Barry O’Bama went to another big party last night to hobnob it with the celebs. Heck of a job, Barry!
