Well, you have to admit… it’s appropriate.
You must be kidding me. First of all, what the hell are they selling. If you didn’t know what a Zune was, as most people don’t, it just looks like a stupid commercial. Second the first creature looks like a hairless cock and balls. If this is M$ idea of cool and cutting edge then they really are f**ked up. Steve Jobbs must be laughing, knowing that M$ has another flop on their hands.
I think that their marketing department should lay off the magic mushrooms. Cripes!

Even knowing what a Zune is, I thought this was totally stupid.
It’s M$ making a copy of the iPod. They can’t design it until they see the iPod and steal the idea…
I rushed out and bought one. Now I have to figure out what it is.

Other Zune videos are similar. There is one in which a lion eats a deer in the interest of being ‘social.’ The designers of the ads think they are ‘edgy.’
The company that designed it is Tokyo Plastic… they’ve got some cool (but weird) work on their site (and the site itself is a work of art). I believe this is the only spot they did for the Zune thus far – so other weird ones are from other designers altogether.
