When “Lost in Space” is (someday) re-made as a new TV series, I nominate Shep Smith to play Dr. Smith. He’s perfect for the role, in so many ways.

  2. B. Dog says:

If Adam can get it together enough to get rid of that “giving is loving” crap that keeps coming out of his mouth it will be good.

    • orchidcup says:

This point is confirmed by modern psychology. Therapists will tell you that when we give we have to rationalize to ourselves our expenditure of effort. So we look with greater favor upon the beneficiary of our kindness. We elevate their importance in our eyes in order to feel good about our actions. Giving leads to caring.

And the giving doesn’t have to be large. It doesn’t have to be on a grand scale. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It doesn’t require many dollars or many hours. And it opens our hearts.

Give and you’ll care. Give and you’ll love.

  3. Axl says:

Bitching and moaning and even threatening to do the show once a week? Get it, to threaten is no good way to motivate. Maybe a move away from commenting mainstream media clips all the time….. and get back to the more basic in depth analysis is a solution?
Making fun of people mispronouncing is fun once or twice. Same to make fun of people that does not have English as their mother tongue. It becomes cheap entertainment to do it over and over again. And tiring to be frank.
I guess the challenge for the Crackpot and Buzzkill is to become even more relevant, to make an even more pronounced difference. Everything has to develop and adapt.
That said, I’ve been a contributor for years, is a Knight and my yearly due is coming up shortly, and I enjoy every show with pleasure. But, be careful not to get cemented into a routine. That may kill you in the end… My two pennies worth.

    • orchidcup says:

As a Knight also, I will throw my nickel’s worth in the pot.

Two and a half hours of listening can get tedious sometimes, and difficult to fit into a busy lifestyle.

Maybe one and a half hours or even one hour of media commentary and analysis would be easier to digest twice a week.

      Just sayin’

  4. Leonard says:

DUH……Did you forget the economy sucks? I know I don’t have 200 or 400 or 600 hundred dollars just give away….

  5. San Martin says:

I just wanted to say that I believe some of the calls for more original content is that there are a lot of other alternative media outlets (which I will not name in order to get this post past the censors) which cover topics that No Agenda claims to be “the only place covering Issue X” when that is patently false. I’m a fan of the show but I honestly get my serious analysis from other new media outlets, many of which do a much better job and go deeper into content without asking for nearly as much money.
As an example The Lisbon Treaty was being talked about just as much and in even more detail on other alternative outlets the same time that NA was talking about it
I honestly just listen to the show as I’m a huge John C Dvorak fan and do enjoy hearing his cranky geek opinion on things.

  6. Leonard says:

You can have no agenda and still have sponsorship. Just get people that have the same opinions and thoughts as you do and there you go. If Alex Jones can get people to advertise on his show then why can’t you?I would love to send money to your cause every week, but I just cannot afford it. 5 bucks a month is all I can do. I hope you guys keep going, but if not good luck in your other ventures.
