I have always found that when something made no sense (or cents as noname said 🙂 ) to me I had been looking at the problem wrong, or that other people were involved and that their motives weren’t honest, or honestly stated…
The mess in the EU isn’t going to get cleaned up for years if at all. The French loath individuals and organizations that are more successful than they are and they are going to join the rest of the destitute.
We are continuing to squander money in staggering amounts. The Obama WH is intent on crushing fossil fuel use in the US. He simply sees businesses as source of largess to be redistributed to those who are not working/buy votes and the odds that our economy is going to get any better under his admin approximates zero.
The good news for the poor is that they will have medical coverage and the bad news is more and more doctors won’t touch them with a ten foot pole. Dealing with the government is too much pain for two little return. Everybody else’s medical costs will go up to cover the uninsured.
The US as a whole is coming to resemble CA more and more. It is obvious we need a change because what we are doing is obviously going to turn us into an economic shambles but people go out and vote for more of the same.
It’s like the lame media’s love affair with the progressive movement and Obama. You look at the numbers and it’s clear they are harshly limiting their revenue stream by their extreme partisanship but they do it anyway.
Higher Education, colleges and Universities, are devoutly and intolerantly progressive and its about to cut their revenue streams or already has because as the money runs out their share of the pie is shrinking. More and more money is going to people producing nothing.
I guess the smart thing to do is focus on now and try to do what it takes to keep you and your family above water unless you are one of the people living off the labor of others.
In that case maybe you vote for Obama and party till the money runs out or conversely you vote for Romney and hope he can delay the day the money runs out. The shape we are in now nobody is going to be allowed to do what it would take to prevent the money running out. The Fed gov is outstandingly, staggeringly, corrupt and inefficient.
